Synopsis:
Surrender Tango goes beyond tango as a dance to tango as a metaphor for relationships. Shot entirely in New York, social dancers and professionals describe the mystery of the tango connection, including the concept of surrender-a moment of power in which partners are centered and independent enough to give themselves to each other. The film culminates with a performance by Mariela Franganillo and Jorge Torres, dancers from Forever Tango.
